Hello, I am Keiya. I like: Coffee, martial arts, anime & manga, doodling, gaming of all sorts, my computer, LEGO, playing the guitar, baking, and birds.

The Site
This site has been around in multiple incarnations since November of 2000. HDO stands for Hokage Dot Org; The word hokage being Japanese in origin, stemming from the anime series Naruto (I can has Narutard). My original domain name "sabotender.org" expired in 2002 because I forgot to enable auto-renew so I registered this one.

All content is managed using Drupal, the CMS of my choice. All entries are edited in Notepad++ or Google Docs.

Favorite Music
Pretty much anything other than country western or rap. I do though, like hip-hop and some of the more mainstream soundting country, it's the really twangy shit that bothers me. I mostly listen to rock, metal, video game and anime soundtracks. Specific artists and groups that I listen to frequently:

Foo Fighters (<3 favorite), AC/DC, Daft Punk, Green Day, Jonathan Coulton, The Killers, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins.

Favorite Television Shows
Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, Star Trek (TNG, ToS, Voy, DS9, & Enterprise, in that order), Stargate SG-1, CSI.

Favorite Movies   
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars Trilogy (the original :P), Serenity, Star Trek IV, The Goonies, Total Recall, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Any Miyazaki film.

Favorite Books
Riftwar cycle by Raymond E. Feist (favorite author), Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Dragonlance series by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.
