Site History
This site has been around since the dawn of time (well, November of 2000 approx). I think this is probably the 6th or 7th incarnation of a series of personal blogs imported over from one CMS/blog system to another chronicling every stupid and uninteresting thing that I ever did in college. It went permanently dormant at some point in 2005. In March of 2007 I nuked the database and started over. And here we are.

My original domain name "sabotender.org" expired in 2002 because I forgot to enable auto-renew, so I registered this one. HDO actually stands for Hokage Dot Org, a feeble attempt to mask the fact that I own a domain named after Naruto (which I still watch and enjoy :P). I've thought about registering a new domain but I've grown attached to this one. So, whatever.

All content is managed using Drupal, the content management system of my choice. All entries are edited in Notepad++ or Google Docs. This site is currently being hosted at Linode, an excellent VPS hosting solution. For the sake of self promotion, here is my referral code.

World of Warcraft
My WoW main, and pretty much the only character that I care about playing is Keiya, a protection paladin retribution paladin (as of 3.0) who I rolled on November 27th, 2004 (technically earlier if you count open Beta). I was holy in vanilla WoW, and protection in the Burning Crusade. My one and only other high level character is Doombeard, the lovable level 7x 80 Dwarven hunter who gets played whenever I am in the mood. What can I say, I'm not really much of an alt whore.
